Il Gin Pigskin di Silvio Carta è un distillato che unisce tradizione e innovazione, offrendo un'esperienza sensoriale unica. Ottenuto da una selezione di botaniche sarde come ginepro, mirto, timo, finocchietto, salvia e scorza di limone, questo gin si distingue per il suo invecchiamento in botti di castagno centenarie, precedentemente utilizzate per la Vernaccia di Oristano.

Grazie abche all'infusione con rose selvatiche, Pigskin si presenta con un colore rosa e un profumo avvolgente di macchia mediterranea, con note di noce moscata e sentori più dolci di vaniglia.
Al palato, si presenta morbido e strutturato, con una lunga persistenza di note tostate.

Il nome "Pigskin" deriva da un incontro ravvicinato tra i membri della famiglia Carta e alcuni cinghiali durante la raccolta delle botaniche, celebrando l'indomito spirito selvaggio dell'animale sardo per eccellenza.

Questo gin è ideale per essere gustato liscio o in un classico Gin Tonic preparato con una tonica Indian, offrendo un assaggio autentico della Sardegna.
